GG-POWER™ - (90 softgels)

$63.00

About GG-POWER™:

GG-POWER™ our flagship geranylgeraniol supplement contains 150 mg of annatto-derived GG per softgel. Geranylgeraniol is a naturally occurring compound found in plants, including annatto (Bixa orellana).

GG-POWER™ brings this plant-derived ingredient to our supplement collection in a convenient softgel format, alongside DeltaPOWER™.

Geranylgeraniol: Areas of Research

  • Oxidative Stress Research: Laboratory studies examine GG in relation to cellular responses to oxidative stress.

  • Inflammation Research: Researchers investigate how GG interacts with inflammatory signaling pathways in experimental models.

  • Bone Research: Studies explore GG in relation to the activity of cells involved in bone formation and breakdown.

  • Cell Growth Research: Laboratory studies examine GG and processes involved in cell growth and survival, including studies using cancer cell lines. These findings do not establish cancer prevention or treatment in people.

  • Cholesterol Metabolism Research: Researchers study GG’s interactions with cellular pathways involved in cholesterol production. These studies do not establish cholesterol-lowering or cardiovascular benefits from supplementation.

  • Immune Research: Laboratory studies investigate GG in relation to immune-cell signaling and responses to inflammatory stimuli.

  • Brain Research: Experimental studies explore GG in relation to nerve-cell signaling and the activity of immune cells in the brain.

About Geranylgeraniol

Geranylgeraniol (GG) is a naturally occurring compound found in plants, including annatto (Bixa orellana). It belongs to a large family of compounds called isoprenoids.

GG is connected to the mevalonate pathway—a series of biochemical reactions involved in producing substances used throughout the body. Within cells, GG can be converted into geranylgeranyl pyrophosphate (GGPP), a compound involved in modifying certain proteins so they can carry out their cellular functions.

Researchers study GG to better understand its relationship with cellular metabolism and signaling. These biological roles do not, by themselves, establish the effects of taking a GG supplement.
